New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially released the schedule for the upcoming Australia tour of the Indian men’s and women’s cricket teams. The Indian men’s team will tour Australia in October 2025, while the women’s team will play matches in Australia in February-March next year.
Men’s Team Schedule
The Indian men’s team will play a three-match ODI series and a five-match T20 series on this tour. The ODI series will begin on October 19 and conclude on October 25. The first match will be played in Perth, the second in Adelaide, and the third in Sydney. Following the ODIs, the T20 series will be held from October 29 to November 8. The five T20 matches will take place in Melbourne, Brisbane, Hobart, Sydney, and Perth, with the final game scheduled for November 8.
Who Will Lead the Team?
Experienced players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli might be part of the ODI squad, though an official confirmation is yet to be made. As for the T20 series, the captaincy could be handed to either Suryakumar Yadav or Hardik Pandya, but the final decision will rest with the selection committee.
Women’s Team Schedule
The Indian women’s team will tour Australia in February-March next year, playing three T20s, three ODIs, and one Test match. The T20 series will take place on February 15, 19, and 21, with matches scheduled in Sydney, Canberra, and Adelaide. The ODI series will follow, with matches on February 24, 27, and March 1. The only Test match will begin on March 6.
