New Delhi: Indian cricketers celebrated the festival of Holi with great enthusiasm, and social media is flooded with their colorful moments. While KKR stars like Rinku Singh and Venkatesh Iyer enjoyed Holi in full swing, Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) young sensation Riyan Parag also stole the limelight. A video of Parag celebrating Holi has gone viral, showing him completely covered in pink gulal. In the clip, a person is seen throwing a bucket full of colors on him, while another drenches him with water.

Riyan Parag’s Epic Holi Celebration

Riyan Parag took the celebration to the next level by dancing to the classic Holi song ‘Holiya Mein Ude Re Gulal.’ His joyous dance moves have delighted fans, making the video a hot topic on social media. Rajasthan Royals’ official Instagram account also shared a clip featuring Parag applying colors to himself, with Dhruv Jurel enjoying the festivities alongside him. The franchise captioned the post as ‘Aatmanirbhar Royals’ (Self-Reliant Royals), reflecting the team’s camaraderie and spirit.

Riyan Parag’s Salary Sees a 3.5x Hike

Riyan Parag has been a part of Rajasthan Royals since 2019. In IPL 2024, he received a salary of ₹3.40 crore, but ahead of IPL 2025, RR retained him for a whopping ₹14 crore. This massive pay hike is a testament to his exceptional performance in IPL 2024, where he scored 573 runs in 15 matches at an impressive average of 52. His consistent contributions played a key role in RR’s campaign, proving his worth to the franchise.

Recovering from Injury, Eyeing Team India Return

Parag made his T20I debut for India against Sri Lanka in August 2024. In his short international career so far, he has scored 72 runs and taken three wickets in seven T20 matches. Unfortunately, he suffered a shoulder injury during a T20 match against Bangladesh in October 2024, which required surgery. As a result, he is currently recovering and remains out of Team India’s squad.

With IPL 2025 around the corner, fans are eager to see Riyan Parag back in action. His Holi celebrations have already lifted spirits, and RR supporters hope to see him making a strong comeback on the field soon.
