Fans were reminded of Yuvraj’s iconic six sixes in an over against England’s Stuart Broad in the 2007 T20 World Cup, as he once again delivered a power-packed performance.
This time, his target was former Australian leg-spinner Bryce McGain, against whom Yuvraj launched three consecutive sixes in a single over, displaying glimpses of his past dominance. Batting at an explosive strike rate of 196.67, Yuvraj smashed 59 runs off just 30 balls, featuring seven towering sixes and one boundary. His aggressive innings was instrumental in guiding India Masters to a mammoth total of 220/7 in 20 overs.
