The fourth match of the ongoing five-match T20 International series between West Indies and England was played in St. Lucia on 16 November 2025. Evin Lewis, the opening batsman for the West Indies, was in tremendous form. He faced a total of 31 balls and scored 68 runs at an impressive strike rate of 219.35. During his innings, Lewis hit four fours and seven towering sixes.

Lewis particularly targeted England’s all-rounder Liam Livingstone. In Livingstone’s over, the eighth of the innings, Lewis scored an explosive 30 runs. In the English all-rounder’s over, he managed to hit 3 sixes and 3 fours. After ICC’s official page posted this video, it became an internet sensation and went viral, quickly becoming a hot topic.

Lewis’ Explosive Attack on Livingstone’s Over

In the eighth over of the innings, bowled by Liam Livingstone, Evin Lewis went on an attacking spree. The first ball was wide, which also fooled the wicketkeeper, giving the West Indies five extra runs. Lewis then played the next ball to deep mid-wicket for a couple of runs. On the second and third balls, Lewis hit two powerful shots—one for a six and the other for a four.

Livingstone managed to beat Lewis on the fourth ball, but on the fifth ball, Lewis struck again, sending the ball for another massive six into the stands. The sixth ball was wide, giving Lewis another chance. He seized this opportunity, hitting the ball for a third six in the over.

Livingstone’s Poor Performance

Liam Livingstone’s performance in the match was disappointing. While batting, he could only score four runs off six balls while batting at number five. When it was his turn to bowl, he conceded 30 runs in his one over, with an economy rate of 30.00, and failed to take any wickets.

England’s Struggle and West Indies’ Victory

England batted first, winning the toss, and posted a total of 218/5 in their 20 overs. However, West Indies chased down the target with ease, reaching 219/5 in just 19 overs, losing only five wickets. Evin Lewis was the hero of the match for West Indies with his explosive 68-run knock.
