South Africa’s fast bowlers and spinners bowled out Bangladesh for just 106 runs in favorable conditions despite winning the toss and opting to bat first. Kagiso Rabada, Wiaan Mulder and Keshav Maharaj took three wickets each.
Taijul Islam and Mehidy Hasan Miraz took seven wickets for Bangladesh. However, South Africa took a strong lead of 202 runs with the century of Kyle Verreynne and the support of Mulder (54) and Dane Piet (32). Mehedi Hasan (97) took the total score to 307 with an important partnership with the lower order. Chasing the target of 106 runs, they won by losing 3 wickets.
