Sanju Samson is finally showing his talents for the Men in Blue Brigad. He scored two back-to-back hundreds with the ICC T20I World Cup champion team. After the tonne against South Africa, Sanju reveals what former Indian coach Ravi Shastri told him.
Sanju Samson completed his century in 47 balls in the first T20 match against South Africa, but after scoring a century, he could not stay on the crease for long and was dismissed. He scored 107 runs in 50 balls, including 7 fours and 10 sixes. Sanju played the last T20I match against Bangladesh and he also scored a century in it. He has become the first Indian player to score a century in two consecutive matches of T20 International. Before him, no Indian player was able to do this. Overall, Sanju has become the fourth player overall to score a century in two consecutive T20I matches. He has equaled Gustav Macon, Rilee Rousseau, Phil Salt.

“I remember him talking to me before the Bangladesh game in Hyderabad. He was like, ‘Sanju! You just need that one big hundred. I am telling you. And you will be fine.’ I think we are happy it happened and I am happy for everyone”, Sanju Samson said.
“I think it is too early to feel how special it is. Maybe if you ask me tomorrow, I can tell you how excited I am and happy I am.
