Haryana Airport: Haryana’s first and only airport has got the license from the Airport Authority of India for flights. This license was issued to Hisar Airport on Thursday evening. Now soon domestic flights will be started from here to Ayodhya, Jammu, Jaipur, Delhi and Ahmedabad.

First flight possible on Ram Navami

Haryana government will now contact the Prime Minister’s Office. If everything goes well, then on the day of Ram Navami, Prime Minister Narendra Modi can flag off the flight to Ayodhya. Currently, Hisar Airport has been given an aerodrome license for 6 months. After this period, the Airport Authority of India will review again on the basis of the ATR report submitted by DGCA. If all the standards are met, the airport will be provided a 5-year flight operation license.

An agreement has been done with Alliance Air

The government has signed an agreement with Alliance Air for flights from Hisar Airport. In the initial phase, flights will start from here to Ayodhya, Jammu, Jaipur, Delhi and Ahmedabad. Initially, 70-seater planes will fly. If the number of passengers remains low, it will be limited to 40-seater planes. Initially, flights will start once a week, after which further decisions will be taken depending on the traffic.

The central government will operate
This airport will be operated by the central government and will be run by the Airport Authority of India. The central government will decide on the airport’s infrastructure, operation, maintenance and jobs. However, the Haryana government will have the ownership of the land. The responsibility of security will be with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). At present, Haryana Police personnel are deployed here.

Haryana’s first and only airport, Hisar Airport, has received the license from the Airport Authority of India (AAI) to operate flights. The license was granted on Thursday evening. With this approval, domestic flights will soon begin from Hisar to various destinations, including Ayodhya, Jammu, Jaipur, Delhi, and Ahmedabad, providing a significant boost to connectivity in the region.
