Haryana cow Scheme: Recently, the new budget for the year 2025 was presented by the Chief Minister of Haryana. In this budget, some important announcements were also made keeping in mind the interests of the economically weaker section, today we are going to give you information about a latest update related to this. Let us tell you that the CM announced that now a new scheme will be made to improve the breed of sheep and goats.

Big gift to cattle farmers

During this, while giving information, it was told that to increase the income of the cattle farmers, a new scheme will also be started in the direction of making high genetic breed of goat and sheep which are not found in Haryana, available to the cattle farmers of the state. Along with this, while giving information, it was told that the amount of subsidy given on the purchase of Desi Cow will be increased from 25000 to 30000 rupees.

These Gaushalas will get e-rickshaws

The CM informed that work will also be done regarding the sperm sorting laboratory in Hisar with the help of the National Dairy Development Board for gender-based sorting of the semen of the Desi bull. Under the Gau Seva Aayog, one e-rickshaw will be provided to the Gaushalas having up to a thousand cows and two e-rickshaws will be provided to the Gaushalas having more than a thousand animals. Apart from this, many big announcements were made, till now the limit of insurance for cattle rearing farmers under the Pashudhan Bima Yojana was up to five animals, but now it has been increased to 10 animals.

The Chief Minister of Haryana recently presented the state’s 2025 budget, with a focus on improving the welfare of economically weaker sections. Among the significant announcements, the CM revealed a new scheme aimed at enhancing the breed of sheep and goats, specifically targeting cattle farmers. This initiative will introduce high-genetic breeds of goats and sheep, which are not currently available in Haryana, to boost farmers’ incomes.

In addition to this, the subsidy for the purchase of Desi cows will increase from ₹25,000 to ₹30,000, providing further support to cattle farmers. A sperm sorting laboratory will also be established in Hisar, in collaboration with the National Dairy Development Board, to facilitate gender-based sorting of Desi bull semen.

Furthermore, the Gau Seva Aayog will provide e-rickshaws to gaushalas (cow shelters) based on their cattle population. Gaushalas with up to 1,000 cows will receive one e-rickshaw, while those with more than 1,000 animals will be given two. Lastly, the Pashudhan Bima Yojana, which provides insurance for cattle farmers, has been expanded to cover up to 10 animals, increasing the support for cattle rearing.
