Haryana News: Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that the state government is continuously working to increase the quality of education and provide better education opportunities to the students. Apart from regular teachers, guest teachers are working in all the government primary and government secondary schools of the state through Haryana Skill Employment Corporation and under internal arrangements.

The Chief Minister was responding to questions raised by the opposition during the discussion on the Governor’s address during the budget session of the Haryana Legislative Assembly today. He said that on the basis of the report received through the MIS portal, there are 7,986 sanctioned posts in government colleges. Out of these, lecturers are working on 5,422 posts. The process of filling 2,424 Group-B posts of Assistant Professor in various subjects is going on by the Haryana Public Service Commission.

Singh Saini said that the allegation leveled by the opposition that there is not a single student in 294 schools of Haryana is absolutely baseless. There are only 28 such schools in which there is not a single student. The teachers of all these 28 schools have been adjusted in other schools.

He said that to ensure quality education

He said that to ensure quality education of the students of Nuh district, a separate Mewat cadre was created on April 30, 2012. The process of filling all the vacant posts is going on. The demand letter has been sent to Haryana Staff Selection Commission on August 9, 2024 to fill 1,456 posts of PRT.

Apart from this, the demand letter has been sent to Haryana Public Service Commission in July 2024 to fill 360 vacant posts of various subjects of PGT. Out of this, recommendation has been received for 59 posts and joining will be done in a few days. The remaining posts will also be filled soon.
