Namo Bharat Train: After running in Meerut and Delhi, preparations have started for the operation of high speed Namo Bharat Train in Haryana. For the operation of Namo Bharat Train here, the state government has approved the Regional Rapid Transit System Project worth Rs 34 thousand crores. Now the Detailed Project Report (DPR) is awaiting approval from the Ministry of Urban and Housing.

Stations will be built at 9 places

After getting approval from the Ministry of Urban and Housing, work on this project will start rapidly. After the implementation of this project, the journey from Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi to Dharuhera via Gurugram will become very easy. Under this project, 9 stations of Namo Bharat Train will be built in Haryana. These include Cyber City, IFFCO Chowk, Rajiv Chowk, Hero Honda Chowk, Kherki Daula, Manesar, Panchgaon, Bilaspur and Dharuhera stations. This will make travel easier for millions of people of NCR region of Haryana.

The route of this train will be constructed in one phase, in which underground stations will be constructed at Rajiv Chowk, Hero Honda Chowk, Kherki Daula and Manesar. On completion of the Namo Bharat Train project, on one hand people will get another option of high speed in the form of public transport connectivity, on the other hand, the time taken in travel will be saved. At the same time, it will also play an important role in the development of industrial areas in Gurugram and Rewari.

Waiting for approval of the Central Government

The land required for the corridor, stations and depot of Namo Bharat Train has been identified. As soon as this project gets approval from the Central Government. Work on it will start. Apart from this, Delhi- Panipat Metro Corridor is also being considered.
