Honor Magic 7 Pro Review: Is this Honor’s Best Smartphone Ever

In today’s time, smartphones have become very important not only for calling but also for gaming, photography and multitasking. When it comes to flagship smartphones, Honor Magic 7 Pro has created a stir in the market.

Honor had already launched it in the Chinese market in November, but everyone was eagerly waiting for the global launch. Now that this smartphone has arrived in the global market, the question arises – is it worth its price? So let’s take a look at every feature of this flagship phone.

Design

Just by looking at the design of the Honor Magic 7 Pro, you will know that it is a premium phone. The metal ring around its camera module has been reduced, which makes this phone look even more sleek and modern. The back panel of the phone is completely integrated, which makes it look great from every angle.

Talking about the front, it has a 6.8-inch quad curved floating display. The bezels are super narrow and the curvature of the display is subtle, which gives it a flat screen feel.

Performance

Talking about the performance of Honor Magic 7 Pro, this phone is ready to handle any task. The base model has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which is enough for most users. This phone scores well in the Geekbench 6 test.

Display

The Honor Magic 7 Pro features a 6.8-inch full equal-depth micro-curved display made by Visionox. It has a 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, which saves battery life. The pixel density of the display is 453PPI and the screen-to-body ratio is 92.96%. The HDR peak brightness is 5000 nits and the global peak brightness is 1600 nits.

Camera

The Honor Magic 7 Pro features a 50MP wide-angle camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 200MP ultra-high-definition telephoto camera. The wide-angle camera comes with a 1/1.3-inch sensor and supports variable aperture for low-light shots. The ultra-wide camera is great for 122° field of view and 2.5cm macro shots.

The 200MP telephoto camera supports 3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. Image quality is excellent at 3x and 6x zoom. Colors, textures and background details are extremely clear.

Battery

The Honor Magic 7 Pro has a 5850mAh battery, which is Honor’s 3rd generation silicon carbon battery. It supports 100W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. However, the charger is not included in the box, which you will have to buy separately.
