Oppo has finally confirmed the launch date of its new foldable smartphone Oppo Find N5. The company claims that it will be the world’s thinnest foldable phone. Along with this, Oppo is also going to launch its Watch X2. Recently the design and color options of the phone have also been revealed. Not only this, many of its important specifications have also been revealed from a leaked screenshot.
Oppo Find N5 design and colour options
The Oppo Find N5 will be offered in three different colour options. The Jade White and Satin Black variants will come with a glass back, while the Twilight Purple variant will have a leather back design. However, the Twilight Purple variant is not shown in Oppo’s global teaser.
OPPO Find N5 launch date and event details
The global launch event of OPPO Find N5 will be held in Singapore on February 20, 2025. The event will start at 4:30 pm Indian time. OPPO Watch X2 will also be launched in this event.
Display and processor
The phone will have a large 8.12-inch foldable display. The cover screen information has not been revealed yet. The phone can come with QHD+ resolution support for better visuals. The OPPO Find N5 will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC processor. This will be the first smartphone to have a 7-core variant of this chipset.
Camera setup
The camera setup of OPPO Find N5 will be slightly different from the previous model. It will have a 50MP primary camera, 8MP secondary camera and 50MP telephoto camera (3x periscope zoom). Earlier it was expected that the phone would have a triple 50MP camera setup, but according to the leak, the camera specification has been changed.
Global launch
According to some rumors, OPPO Find N5 can be rebranded as OnePlus Open 2 in the global market. Earlier also OPPO Find N3 was launched under the name OnePlus Open. OnePlus Open was priced at ₹1,39,999 in India, so Find N5 (OnePlus Open 2) can also come at the same price.
