Samsung is preparing to launch its next generation flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. This phone will come with an extremely thin design, making it the thinnest Samsung Galaxy smartphone ever. Recently leaked information has revealed the specifications and features of the phone.
Ultra-slim body
According to the new leak, the thickness of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will be only 5.84mm, making it one of the thinnest flagship smartphones in the market. Earlier it was being said that this phone would be 6.4mm thick, but now it is clear from the leak that its actual design will be even thinner. However, due to such a thin body, the camera module will be slightly raised, due to which the total thickness of the phone can be up to 10mm.
Camera setup
Talking about the camera setup of Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, it will have:
- 200MP primary camera – Samsung’s HP2 sensor, which is capable of capturing high-resolution images.
- 12MP ultra-wide lens – for excellent wide-angle photography.
This phone does not have a telephoto camera, but Samsung claims that with the help of 200MP sensor, you will get great zoom quality.
Battery and charging
Due to the thin body of the phone, Samsung has given it a 3900mAh battery. Although it is smaller than other flagship phones, Samsung’s battery optimization technology will help it last longer.
- 25W wired charging will be supported.
- Wireless charging support will also be available.
Display
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will have an LTPO OLED display, which will come with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2600 nits. This display will give excellent color accuracy and smooth scrolling experience. Also, the screen will have Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, which will keep it safe from scratches and falls.
Launch date and expected price
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to launch in April or May 2025. As the launch date approaches, more details about this phone may be revealed. Its expected price could be around ₹80,000 to ₹90,000, although its exact price will be known only after Samsung’s official announcement.
