So let’s know what is so special in vivo V50 that makes it different in the market.

vivo V50 Display and Design

If we talk about its display, the vivo V50 comes with a 6.77-inch full HD+ quad-curved AMOLED display, which supports 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits peak brightness. This display is protected with Diamond Shield glass and also has HDR10+ support. There is a punch-hole cutout on the display, which houses a 50MP selfie camera (with auto-focus). The fingerprint scanner is present below the display, which is quite fast and accurate.

vivo V50 Camera

Now talking about its camera, the vivo V50 has a camera island at the back, which looks similar to the V40. It has two rear cameras – 50MP primary camera (with OIS) and 50MP ultrawide camera (119˚ FOV). The primary camera uses the OmniVision OV50e sensor, while the ultrawide and selfie cameras are based on Samsung’s ISOCELL JN1 sensor.

Apart from this, all three cameras of the vivo V50 are equipped with ZEISS optics. With this, you can click portraits with different ZEISS bokeh effects and three focal lengths (23mm, 35mm, and 50mm) with the primary camera. Also, there is an India-exclusive feature called Wedding Portrait Studio. With this feature, you can capture photos in three different portrait styles (Prosecco, Neo Retro, and Pastel).

vivo V50 Performance and Storage

The vivo V50 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The smartphone runs Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15 and will get three Android OS upgrades and four years of monthly security updates.

Vivo has kept the bloatware to a minimum, especially as the Indian unit has only five pre-installed third-party apps (Amazon, Facebook, LinkedIn, Netflix, PhonePe), which you can uninstall if you want.

vivo V50 Battery and Other Features

The vivo V50 comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it dust and water proof. It has a large 6,000 mAh battery, which supports 90W fast charging. Apart from this, it has dual stereo speakers and three color options (Titanium Grey, Rose Red, and Starry Night) are available.
