Design and Specifications
Pulsar’s NS lineup has always been known for its average streetfighter looks and the latest bike in the series, the NS400Z, also has an average look and design.
The looks of the new Pulsar NS400Z seem to be largely based on the extended muscular body of the NS200. The look of the new NS400Z is very similar to the NS200.
Despite this, the new Pulsar NS400Z has some features that make it a little different in its lineup. LED projector lamp is provided in the center of this bike.
Apart from this, the main attraction of the bike is the up-side-down (USD) front fork suspension and the sculpted fuel tank with golden finish, which gives it a sporty look. Special graphics are also seen on the fuel tank and engine guard of Pulsar NS400Z.
Powertrain
The new Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z gets the same 373.3cc single-cylinder unit engine as the Dominar 400. This is the largest engine ever installed in Pulsar.
This liquid-cooled engine produces 39.45bhp of power at 8,800rpm and 35Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The engine of the Pulsar NS400Z is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox with assist and slipper clutch, which sends power to the rear wheel via a chain drive setup.
