Last month, there has been a good increase in sales in the 125cc segment in the country. Which also includes models like Honda Shine, Bajaj Pulsar, TVS Raider and Hero Splendor. These bikes are suitable for traveling in the city as well as long distance travel. Bikes in the 125cc segment are attracting first-time buyers.
Honda CB Shine remains number 1
In April 2024, the sales of this bike have registered an annual growth of 35.94%. CB Shine sold 1,21,338 units this month after selling 89,261 units in April last year. It was the only bike to sell more than 1 lakh units, with which it achieved 38.60% market share.
Bajaj Pulsar at number two
Bajaj Pulsar stood second with sales of 87,880 units. This is 11.52% more than the 78,799 units sold in April last year. TVS Raider stood third in terms of sales in the 125cc segment, whose sales increased by 62.26% to 51,098 units in April 2024. Sales of Hero Splendor, which once ruled the 125cc segment, declined by 34.85% to 22,595 units last month. Hero Glamour has strengthened its hold in the 125 cc motorcycle segment and has registered a sales growth of 55.68% in April 2024. Glamour sales increased to 18,747 units this month after selling 12,043 units last month.
