Hyundai Casper Car: Hyundai is expanding its SUV range. The company is about to launch a new car “Casper”. This car will be compact and easy to drive like a city car, but will look like a powerful SUV.

To meet the increasing demand for powerful looking vehicles like Tata Punch, Hyundai is launching this new vehicle. In such a situation, it is being said that Hyundai Casper can create a stir in this market with its attractive design.

Hyundai Casper is built on the K1 platform. Large SUVs like Grand i10 Nios and Santro are also built on this platform. In simple words, Hyundai is trying to provide all types of vehicles to its customers. Casper is an example of this.

Even though Hyundai has registered the “Casper” name on May 13, 2024, there has been no official announcement of its launch in India yet. This step is often taken to protect the brand name.

However, this shows that Hyundai is keeping in mind the preferences of the Indian market, where people prefer stylish and attractive vehicles. Hyundai Casper has been given a special design.

Round headlights, LED DRL and mesh grille make it different from others. This car is great to drive in the city as its size is neither too big nor too small.

Its length is 3595 mm, width is 1595 mm and height is 1575 mm. Even though this car is small compared to big vehicles, there is a lot of space to sit inside it, as its wheelbase is 2400 mm.

Casper looks very clean and beautiful from inside. It features a steering wheel with two large straight spokes, a dashboard-mounted center console and a touchscreen infotainment system.

Although models overseas come with Advanced Driving Assistance Features (ADAS), models coming to India may not have these features, which may keep the price down.

The engine coming in the Casper vehicle will be of 1.2 liter which is non-turbo and will run on petrol. It will come with two types of gearboxes – one manual and the other automatic (AMT).

The purpose of this setup is to give good mileage and response to the car in both city and highway driving. The starting price of Hyundai Casper can be around Rs 5 lakh.

There is no direct competition to the Casper, it is a different kind of car which may also attract hatchback lovers. However, the Casper can also compete with vehicles like Tata Punch and Citroen C3.
