MG Motor Upcoming Car: MG Motor has started testing its new electric car MG Cloud EV in the Indian market. From its testing it has become clear that the company is planning to launch it by September. The company has also registered its patent. This will be the company’s third electric car in the Indian market. MG ZS EV and Comet EV are already on sale in the Indian market.
Now a report by Autocar has claimed that the price of this electric car will be less than Rs 20 lakh. Let us tell you that there is a partnership between MG and JWS Group. Both the companies together will launch a new electric car every 3 to 6 months.
MG Cloud EV Features and Specifications
Talking about the design of MG Cloud EV, it will have polygonal headlamp housing with automatic LED lights, full-wide LED light strip on top and net-shaped grille. All these together are making its look attractive.
Talking about the side profile, it has black colored B and C pillars, dual-tone rear view mirror with integrated turn signals, 18-inch Ferris-shaped alloy wheels and flush door handles. Its wheelbase is 2,700 mm, which comes with ample legroom and headroom for all passengers.
The cabin of the Cloud EV is equipped with soft touch interiors and ergonomic synthetic leather seats, sofa mode with 135-degree backseat recline, large TFT infotainment system and digital instrument console.
Along with this, the company will also provide many connectivity features in it. It will get boot space of 606 litres. Along with this, this latest car will get connected tail lamp, rear defogger and powered tailgate at the rear.
For safety, it will also have ADAS and 360-degree camera along with multi airbags. This electric car can be launched with 2 powertrain options. It will have 37.9kWh and 50.6kWh battery options. The 37.9kWh battery pack will provide a range of 360Km on a single charge and the 50.6kWh pack will provide a range of 460Km.
Earlier there were some reports according to which its starting price could be around Rs 15 lakh. It will compete with models like Tata Nexon EV, Mahindra XUV400.
