IMD Predicts Heavy Rain

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), a warning has been issued for heavy rains with cloudy weather in Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Nagaland, Meghalaya, and Mizoram from June 1, the normal date of arrival of monsoons in Kerala, South India.

Along with this, rain can also be seen in Manipur and Assam. Apart from this, heavy rains have been predicted at one or two places in Kollam, Idukki, Kozhikode, and Kannur districts of Kerala. Not only this, but there is also a possibility of a storm. An alert has been issued regarding light rain in some parts of Kerala.

Heavy rains have been seen in Mumbai and its surrounding areas at this time. This has reduced the temperature, and people have gotten some relief from the scorching heat. Due to heavy rains, the road broke down in the neighbouring Palghar district of Maharashtra, and a part of the land collapsed, due to which the passersby had to face problems.
