Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Speckled: The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 has finally appeared in new leaked images, the clearest model yet of the production-ready version of the bike. After the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, it will be the second model based on the 452cc platform and will be powered by the brand’s Sherpa 450 engine. The images show the bike’s main frame and subframe, as well as conventional telescopic front forks, a single-piece seat and a distinctive roadster-like handlebar.

Design elements

The panniers and luggage mount of the new Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 look similar to the Himalayan 450. However, it has fat road-biased tubeless tires and smaller wheels. Its fuel tank looks different from its 450cc model. The bike has round LED headlamps and ORVMs, but no front beak and windshield. Its footpads and wide handlebar seem to be taken from the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.

Engine

Apart from these design elements, the upcoming Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 will also get the same engine as the Himalayan 450. This means that it will have a 452cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that will be capable of producing 40.02PS of power and 40Nm. Torque. The bike will get a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch and ride-by-wire throttle.

Who will compete with?

Once launched, the new Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 will directly rival the Triumph Speed 400, Hero Maverick 440, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and the KTM 390 Duke. Its official launch timeline has not been announced yet, although the bike is likely to hit the market in the next few months. Its starting price is estimated to be around Rs 2.6 lakh.

Company is preparing Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350

Chennai-based bike maker Royal Enfield is also preparing a 350cc bobber named Goan Classic 350. It will have a single-seat setup with a detachable pillion perch, ape-hanger handlebar and whitewall tyres. Based on the 350cc J-platform, the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 will share its engine with the Classic 350. However, the company may make minor changes in its gearing or mapping.
