Upcoming EV cars: The next big launch in the electric vehicle segment from Tata Motors will be the Curve EV. This electric car will come with a range of 400-500 km on a single charge. First showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo in concept form, the Tata Harrier EV was spotted at the India Mobility Global Expo 2024. Let’s know about the upcoming EV.

Tata Curvv EV

The next big launch in the electric vehicle segment from Tata Motors will be the Curvv EV. The coupe-SUV was last showcased at the India Mobility Global Expo 2024 in its near-production ICE version and is expected to debut in its EV form in mid-2024. The conventionally powered Curvv will be introduced after this. This electric car will come with a range of 400-500 km on a single charge.

Tata Harrier EV

First showcased in concept form at the 2023 Auto Expo, the Tata Harrier EV was first spotted at the India Mobility Global Expo 2024. The electric derivative of the Harrier will be launched in the second half of 2024. The EV is expected to feature a battery pack of around 60 kWh, offering a range of around 500 kilometres. The design will have some electric-specific touches, taking inspiration from the Harrier facelift. It will also get a dual-motor AWD setup.

Tata Safari EV

Along with the Harrier EV, Tata Motors will also launch the electric Safari in the Indian market. Test mules of the brand’s upcoming flagship electric SUV have also been spotted multiple times, confirming its launch in the domestic market. Its design will be shared with the conventionally powered Safari and some electric-specific changes are quite expected. The powertrain will be shared with the Harrier EV along with the AWD system. The Safari EV is expected to be launched alongside the Harrier EV.

Tata Sierra EV

Tata will bring back the Sierra SUV in the Indian market in 2025. The concept SUV was showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo. According to the company, it will be launched in both electric and petrol ICE powertrain options. Expected to top the brand’s line-up, the Tata Sierra EV will likely share powertrain components with the Harrier EV and Safari EV.
