Royal Enfield is preparing to introduce an updated version of its existing classic model to enter the 300-350 cc bobber segment that rivals brands like Jawa and Yezdi.

Royal Enfield is set to expand its motorcycle lineup with new offerings in the 350 cc, 450 cc and 650 cc segments in the current financial year. Among these updates, there will be revisions to the popular Classic range, including the introduction of the fresh Classic 350 and a possible Bobber version. It is likely to be named Goan Classic 350 in the Indian market.

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 plays a key role in the brand’s expansion into the J-series engine platform. It has received a warm reception from customers since hitting the market in late 2021. The Classic 350 along with models like Meteor 350, Bullet 350 and Hunter 350 have contributed significantly to the brand’s sales volumes.

Updates

The retro roadster is set to lead the lineup in receiving a mid-life update, according to reports. Expected changes include the introduction of new color schemes along with additional features and graphics to enhance the overall appeal. It will continue to be offered with the existing 349 cc SOHC air and oil-cooled engine. This powertrain produces a little over 20 hp and 27 Nm of torque and will be mated to a 5-speed transmission.

Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350

To enter the competitive 300-350 cc bobber segment for rival brands like Jawa and Yezdi, Royal Enfield is preparing to introduce an updated version of its existing classic model. This single-seat Bobber variant will have significant changes compared to the standard Classic model, including raised handlebar, whitewall tires and updated ergonomics.

Lauch updates

It is reported that it will be named Goan Classic 350, but official details have not been confirmed yet. We can expect its launch to take place in the coming months before the release of the updated Classic 350 later this year, as its design patent has already been leaked.
