7-seater Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyrider
7-seater versions of the popular Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hayrider are expected to arrive in the first half of 2025. These models will come with cosmetic updates compared to their 5-seater counterparts. Both models will offer a choice between a 1.5 liter mild-hybrid petrol and a 1.5 liter strong hybrid petrol engine.
Toyota Fortuner MHEV and Hilux MHEV
In recent months a mild-hybrid version of the Toyota Fortuner has been introduced globally along with its HiLex MHEV counterpart. We expect the Fortuner MHEV to arrive later this year or in 2025 and the HiLex MHEV may also join the lineup around the same time.
In the domestic market, it will compete with SUVs like Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus, 7-seater Citroen C3 Aircross and Mahindra XUV700.
Maruti Suzuki FrontX Facelift
The updated Maruti Suzuki Fronx will reportedly be launched sometime next year. Since its launch, this compact SUV coupe has generated significant interest among customers due to its price point and wide range. Being a mid-life update, it will only get minor exterior and interior updates.
