The upcoming compact sedan will continue to rival the new Dzire, Tata Tigor and Hyundai Aura and it could continue with the existing petrol mill with manual or automatic transmission options. The cabin is going to be more advanced and feature loaded compared to the current model.
New Generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire
The all-new Maruti Suzuki Swift was launched in India a few days ago. Meanwhile, its sedan counterpart Dzire is expected to get significant updates in both interior and exterior in the second half of 2024.
Notably, it will be India’s first compact sedan to feature a sunroof, and its interior will feature significant updates. However, there is no official confirmation on this yet.
New-generation Skoda Octavia
After recently reintroducing the Superb, Skoda is exploring the possibility of introducing the latest generation of the global Octavia in the Indian market. Although official details are not yet available, it is likely that it could be sold via the completely built-up (CBU) route initially when it arrives in late 2024 or 2025.
