DGCA has ordered airlines to send information about passengers' rights via SMS/WhatsApp. This will be applicable by March 27.

Airlines like SpiceJet have already started this process and are sending information to passengers.
Airlines may face heavy fines for not following the rules, as happened with Air India Express.
