Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced Sahakar Taxi Service, which will challenge the commission model of Ola-Uber.
This cooperative society based service will give drivers their full earnings, without any commission deduction.
In this app-based system, taxis, rickshaws, two-wheelers and four-wheelers will be registered under cooperative societies.
Drivers will get full profit, no middlemen and government assistance will also be available.
Amit Shah said that this service will be launched in the next few months, on which work is going on for 3.5 years.
Ola-Uber drivers have welcomed this announcement, who were angry about the commission for a long time.
Drivers will get full control in Sahakar Taxi, whereas in Ola-Uber 20-30% commission is deducted.
