Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and dancer Dhanashree Verma's divorce case is in Bombay High Court. Chahal has agreed to pay Rs 4.75 crore alimony.
Chahal has promised to pay Dhanashree Rs 4.75 crore alimony, out of which Rs 2.37 crore has already been paid.
The Bombay High Court has directed the Family Court to take a decision on the matter by March 20.
Chahal will play for Punjab Kings in IPL 2025, so the court asked to take a decision soon.
Both the parties have filed a consent letter for divorce and have been living separately for 2.5 years.
A demand has been made to waive the 6-month cooling period under the Hindu Marriage Act.
Chahal has paid the first installment of alimony, but the family court objected to the non-payment of the remaining amount.
