BHIM UPI Circle: NPCI BHIM Services Limited (NBSL) has launched a new feature ‘UPI Circle’ on BHIM app to make digital payment easier and safe. This feature allows users to allow their UPI transaction to some reliable people, that too with complete transparency and control.

Through UPI Circle, any primary user (main UPI account holder) can allow a maximum of 5 secondary users to make payment proclaimed from their account. However, every transaction will be completed only when the primary user will approve it through his UPI PIN in the BHIM app. Due to this, his monitoring remains on every transaction.
For whom is this feature?
Senior Citizen:
A family member can approve the payment for them.
Students and youth:
Parents can give them limited and safe access.
Small traders:
Traders can facilitate their staff to pay for expenses, but under their surveillance.
Digitally ignorant users:
For those who are not comfortable in digital payment, it can become a big support.The UPI Circle feature is available in the new version 4.0.2 of the BHIM app, including many more new features such as split experiences, family mode, spends dashboard and multi-language support.
How will UPi Circle work?
Open the BHIM app and go to the ‘UPI Circle’ section from home screen or menu.
Tap on ‘Add Secondary User’ and scan their UPI ID or QR code.
Choose “Approve Every Payment” Dailing Type (Partial Delegation).
