Teachers Salary Hike: Good news for thousands of teachers. The Uttar Pradesh government has taken a big decision for the teachers of the state and has significantly increased their monthly honorarium. According to the decision of the UP Cabinet, now the honorarium of high school level teachers has been increased from Rs 12,000 to Rs 20,000 per month.
At the same time, the honorarium given to teachers of intermediate level has also been increased from Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 per month.
What is the new rule ?
The honorarium of high school (class 6-8/9-10) teachers has been increased from Rs 12,000 to Rs 20,000. The honorarium of intermediate (class 11-12) teachers has been increased from Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000. This decision has been approved by the UP cabinet and will be implemented soon.
This decision will provide financial strength to thousands of teachers of the state. This step of the government has been taken keeping in mind the interests of the personnel working in the education sector.
